| Armistice Day 2006
| | What is Armistice Day? I'm almost sad you asked, so go to this little webpage where they do a wonderfully thurough, though elementary, job of explaining it.
| | Yes, we celebrate Armistice Day. I insist upon it- and yes, I know it's Veteran's Day. However, I feel it is more appropriate to honor veterans on Memorial Day, and leave Nov. 11 as a rememberance of the war to end all wars.
Judging from this picture you would have thought Erin started it.
| | I know it's scathingly irreverant, but we just had to cake this holiday. Yeah, we're probably going to hell, those are in fact gummy bear soldiers going over the top of the trenchlines.
| | Now it's on fire.
| | That's all in our stomachs now. Here we are playing Aerodrome 1.1, world's greatest Great War air combat game.
| | It's a real mess for the Huns.
| | Meanwhile other people played skirmish games. That's how we celebrate Armistice Day... this year anyways.
