KublaCon 2007
Here we are prepping up for our first event of the day, the grand debut of our Necromunda boat thing. See the downloads section for more info on this. Shown here from left to right: Andrew and Andrew.
The boat game is in progress. Nothing catastrophic has occured yet apparently; in due time my friends. A thanks to the OpFor for supplementing our terrain pieces for this.
Now things are hitting the fan, a full scale 3-way ramming/board action is in progress. Soon to be followed by a Sealurk attack. I think we'll run this again at Conquest SF.
The hotel lobby from way, way up. This was on Sunday late afternoon so there's really not much going on down there. If I had a pic from Saturday it would have been crowded.
Erin doing her thing at the paint n' take table. Another speed painting competition is about to commence. I did my part in distracting her.
What's a report on KublaCon without a shot from this year's display case? We see here a magestically painted limited edition figure of none other than Kubla himself.
I was stunned. This mini... the base, is hand painted.
Erin and Andy. They look very cute in this photo. We're all back together waiting for B-17: Target For Today to begin. I think this year's target was Saint-Nazaire, which would make this the second time we have missed it.
Ron comments on squadron losses. Not so bad this time, we only lost one. A new record!
A very pretty setup. A nice early 17th century game with lots of minis and a fortress.
That concludes my report on KublaCon 07. Look for us at Conquest SF!
